Pimp the autocorrect feature in Word to save keystrokes. It’s easier than a macro!
Then when you key in the short word/code in your document, it will be replaced with your other word(s) already formatted.
- Type the desired text in a Word document, and format it as you like.
- Highlight the text.
- Open Autocorrect under the Tools menu. The highlighted word will be in the “with” field.
- Enter your shortcut in the “replace” field. For the name of this blog, I use rapb, for example.
- Select the Formatted Text option.
- Click OK.
